On September the 6th Spotify Mobile was released for iPhone but due to all our nice friends over at Apple it’s not allowed to run in the background. In other words, no listening to music while playing around with other apps. There is one trick around this though but it requires a jailbroken iPhone with the application Backgrounder installed and running. This is a small demonstration of spotify running in the background on an iPhone 3G. www.spotify.com code.google.com

Backgrounder is crap compared to music controls available at cydia. It even lets you change songs without having to Open spotify plus the controls on earphones works just like if you would use iPod.
