Sound cuts out on my computer?

Question by Liz: Sound cuts out on my pc?
When i turn it on it comes up with floppy disk error, which it by no means has just before, and now the sound cuts in and out. so like 30 seconds of sound, 10 minutes of nothingness. I have plugged in headphones and i get nothing out of them either. I dont have any viruses or anything either.

When the sound goes spotify stops? Although everything else keeps playing, just no sound. Is this a software problem then? How can I fix this?

proper click “my computer”> click “manage”> on the left click “device manager”> you’ll see a list pop up. where it says “sound…”, click it. proper click what pops up and click “update driver”. that may well do it.
