App Critique: Spotify Spotify is a free of charge music streaming service. If you are a Premium member of this great service (like me) you can get their free Android, iOS, Blackberry and WP7 app. With this app you can stream music straight from Spotify’s millions of tracks straight to your telephone over WiFi and 3G. The stream is a good quality stream and there is not significantly latency. You can edit and access your Spotify playlists as properly. All round it is a excellent app but the only issue is you have to pay out £10 for premium membership to use the app. ————————————- Links: Web site: bit.ly Flcikr: bit.ly Twitter: bit.ly Facebook: on.fb.me ————————————– App Assessment: Spotify App Evaluation: Spotify App Assessment: Spotify ————————————– Tags: spotify music streaming wifi 3g internet “cost-free music” itunes iphone ipad “ipod touch” android htc Samsung

TuneWiki is 80% great. Only problems is that some lyrics get removed for god knows what, sometimes the lyrics are locked to the song which means that we cant edit to correct the mistakes. Music maps doesn’t work either.
Moodagent is just messy. The mood curves are just weird, and doesn’t seem to be hitting the moods on the songs correctly. Would be great if users themselves could rate the mood to each track.

Spotify Apps – because every program needs to do everything. Spotify is about listening to music… why make it so bloated?

I give most of my music away for free under a creative commons license for non commercial use. I am happy that people want to download my music and share it. But if you can afford to pay and would like to help me and other struggling artists like me to make a living, then why not consider some of the alternatives, for example….. (See post below, and thankyou, we need your help and support.)

If you are looking for quality, original, hassle free, inexpensive, legal soundtrack music for your next Youtube video or short film….try “Rumblefish Friendly Music” Just follow the link in the “About Me” section on my page. Only $1.99 per track. (Some good songs…not just library music).
