Why does Spotify(music streaming computer software) log-in page suddenly seem when I attempt to open a video clip?????????????? Commonly I am offered the choice to view in Real Player or Windows Media, but neither of these are now appearing, ONLY Spotify. I am relatively confident that there is not a virus on the pc and I am at a comprehensive loss to know how to rectify this strange occurrence. I have tried rebooting but this does not resolve. Has anyone any concepts what might be going on please.

yes yes yes! i have had this difficulty as effectively, know it all also effectively !!!

and no no no – your right, its not a virus!!

Essentially when you set up any variety of audio or video playback software program, it typically immediately associates all files like mp3′s, wma’s (windows media audio files), mp4′s, avi’s and so on etc to be only utilized and played with that particular software. a pain in the neck sometimes for this precise reason.

The Remedy…

Really straightforward fix, all you gotta do is just go find a music or video file on your pc, then appropriate click on it, choose ‘open with’ then ‘choose default program’ and manually decide on the plan that you want the file to be played with naturally and there will be a ‘tick box’ there someplace that says ‘always use the chosen plan to open this type of file’ or words to that effect! make positive there’s a tick in the box then select ok and from now on your music and video files can be set to the system you have been employed to them using in the 1st location!!!

I am considering of getting a Macbook when I’m in America since they are less costly there. They are still quite pricey, and it may be weird obtaining the American settings for points. So Idk however.

I do not have a normal computer, i developed it myself, but i can say it has the best peices i could locate that alienware, acer and microsoft could send over to canada

Software, i have mozilla firefox and steam whom are my most employed ones.

macbook? pfft, keep it microsoft!

music software program, music frost and itunes would be it.

I have a Toshiba laptop.
I use google chrome for everything, and I use skype and oovoo, and photofiltre
Never seen it.
I just download music off youtube and play it on windows media player.

I have a pink Dell netbook and a black Macbook and fiance has some sort of desktop that he concocted.

I use the internet and the sims, primarily

I haven’t used Lion

I usually crave a specific song, which means Youtube, or Pandora if I’m not in the mood to be choosy

I use an HP laptop.
software: I have a lot of software. The software I use the most is probably Corel Painter.
I don’t know much about Lion at all. I don’t really have an opinion on it quite yet.
Music software: I guess Itunes.

I primarily use my trustworthy and talented Macbook Pro 15 inch laptop that has exceeds virtually every need I have for a computer at this moment. It’s very intuitive, creative, and user-friendly, it’s a pleasure to use. I also have a Macbook Air, but am not as impressed with it because its paper-thin size prevents it from having the storage space and capabilities I’m accustomed to on the other Mac. Apple products do tend to be considerably less in the US, plus there are more discounts available for students. There is currently a back-to-school promotion going on that gives students a discount on their computer purchases and $ 100 to spend at the app store. If you bought a computer here you could very easily switch the settings to your country by going under the System Preferences tab. This will change the language and keyboard settings. Really, the main difference would be the currency tab having a $ instead of £. (hit option 3 and you can make the £)

I’m a Mac enthusiast, but they are more expensive than PCs and sometimes don’t offer as much “bang for your buck” in terms of performance and software. I personally prefer my Macbook Pro over a PC because it best suits my needs. Your needs might not be the same as mine, though, of course. I do a lot of music editing and composing, so having Garageband built-in is awesome for me. I prefer Mac-based software.

What computer have you got? ~ Macbook Pro 15 inch, Macbook Air 11 inch, and an old white Macbook (circa 08)

What software is on it? ~ I have a lot of software, so it would take a considerable amount of time to list them all. I took screenshots of my apps in the “Launchpad” mode in the new Lion platform to show my grandpa who also loves Macs, and you can sort of see the software I have by looking at the pictures:

I use iWork 09, Garageband, and Finale 2011 the most frequently. I do have Microsoft Office 11, but dislike using it.

Do you like the new Lion? (on a macbook) ~ I LOVE it! Oh my goodness! It’s a really wonderful improvement. I’m still acclimating to the new features and the scroll bar, but for the most part I think it’s rad.
