actually yes and no yes cause its a safe program and no cause downloading music is illegal .

Yes. It is absolutely legal.
If you wish to download the songs being played, you right-click on the name of the track and it brings up a dialog where you purchase the song from 7digital.com.
Of course, you don’t have to download the songs. You can simply listen to them all day every day if you want … which is what I do.
You’ll find that there are different versions of the programme available. The ones you pay for have the adverts removed, otherwise you have a short advert of about 30 seconds every few tracks.

Oh yeah it’s all legal, all the artisits are being paid via advertisiements on the program (free version), but you can also pay for premium access which means you don’t have ad’s on spotifiy.
If it was illegal the idea wouldn’t have taken off, and no it’s not a downloade, all the music is streamed to you.
