Does anyone know how to install Spotify because it’s not working?

Question by Jamie D: Does anyone know how to install Spotify because it’s not working?
I have downloaded Spotify before and then came on here and it said that it had being moved so I looked and looked but couldn’t find it. So I uninstalled it and tried installing it again but it downloads then installs for about 3% then goes off and leaves a shortcut which does not work.

Disable your virus scanner and then install spotify. Currently there is an issue with most virus scanners detecting spotify as a virus. It is however completely harmless. Disable your antivirus, run the install then re-enable your antivirus.

If you know how instruct your antivirus software to trust the file and never remove it. Hope this helps
